Good morning to everyone.
Respected Principal, teachers, guests, and my dear friends,
Today, we have gathered to celebrate India’s 79th Independence Day. Every year, on 15th August, we remember the historic day in 1947 when India gained freedom after a long struggle against British rule.
This freedom was achieved because of the courage and sacrifice of great leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Singh, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Rani Lakshmibai, and thousands of other brave freedom fighters. Their love for the nation inspires us even today.
Independence is not just a celebration of our past; it is a reminder of our responsibilities. As responsible citizens, we should respect our Constitution, protect our environment, follow the law, and work honestly for the progress of our country.
India is growing rapidly in technology, education, healthcare, sports, and space exploration. We should feel proud to be part of such a great nation. The future of India lies in the hands of today’s youth. By studying hard, respecting others, and serving society, we can contribute to making India stronger and more prosperous.
On this Independence Day, let us promise to keep our country clean, united, and peaceful. Together, we can build a developed and self-reliant India.
Let us always remember that freedom comes with responsibility.
